Gillingham Neighbourhood Policing Team Weekly Round-Up

It's been super-hot this week in #GILLINGHAM, but we have been on it with tackling issues in your local area. 

After PC Brad got the warrant sworn in, we completed this on Thursday with other members of the team along with our neighbouring forces allows us to share information effectively, and prevents offenders committing cross-border crimes, so you can run but you can't hide from all of us in Dorset, Wiltshire and Avon & Somerset. 

At the warrant we located:

PCs Brad and Ash have also been out on foot patrol - albeit very hot it was nice to see everyone out enjoying the sun safely. We continued with enquiries in relation to criminal damage, and did some hotspot patrols in areas where we see it the most, such as The Meadows, and carparks along the High Street. 

PCSO Laura from Sturminster Newton helped PCSO Vicky with our monthly Community Contact Point (CCP) at Waitrose in Gillingham, thank you to those who came and spoke to us and gave us information and updates about problems in the local area. PC Brad and PCSO Vicky assisted other units to search around Bullbarrow Hill for a High Risk missing person, thankfully the Missing Person was located and assistance has been given to them.
